-Vimeo-

Simply put, Vimeo is the home for videos you make. Use Vimeo to upload and share videos with anyone, watch great videos, meet new people, and explore the amazing world of personal video.

Upload

Vimeo makes it easy for you to upload any kind of video you make. You get 500 MB of storage every week, and we keep the original files so you (or others) can download them at anytime. We really pride ourselves with our video quality so your videos will always look the best on Vimeo. We even support High Definition. Yeah, that's right, HD.

Share

With a click of a button, Vimeo lets you share a video (or albums of videos) with anyone you want. We have robust privacy controls so you can choose exactly who views your videos, and you can even post videos on other sites like Facebook, MySpace, Flickr, or Digg.

Connect

Vimeo is a really fun place to interact with people. Add the people you meet as contacts and subscribe to their videos so you always see what they upload. Start conversations with your friends by commenting on videos and join a positive community of people who respect the videos you make.

Explore

Check out the Explore Page to browse a list of fun features you will find on Vimeo. Interact with other users like you in Vimeo Groups, or subscribe to Channels with the kind of videos you enjoy.

Vimeo Plus Tutorial

I have embedded a video above that uses the interface of Vimeo's skin for their videos. I did this specifically for this page rather than doing my default .flv videos on all the other pages you see to give you an idea of how Vimeo looks. They have very user friendly tools with great information and help. Take a look at the video to get a look at the site!

Activities

Vimeo has a very user friendly management system that allows for easy sharing capaibilities and multiple sources of viewing your videos by creating a "project", which combines certain users into a group and allows them to post videos about a very specific topic, and organize it like a project. Or by creating your own community and inviting firends to meet and view the videos placed in your "community". This idea can be sued for big companies, to small businesses, to family and friends. Or instead of building a "community" you can unleash your videos to the world so anyone can see them. It has very user friendly tools and helpful information. Try creating a community on Vimeo!
